What must be the most roughest conditions i have raced in, turned out to be a very interesting day ! The week leading up the the first national race at Cascades was a wet one , with rain pouring down nearly every day.

On race day , conditions turned dirty with the rain starting to come down. The track was slippery to the extent turning a corner at speed meant crashing ! , so with a combination of running and sliding sideways on the bike, the race was a bit of a gamble with conditions. After falling a few time I ended in 13th place.To what was a very interesting race.
